SAFETY & SECURITY
Cannery Hall security is on hand for your safety and protection at all times during business hours and while the venue is open to the public. All Cannery Hall Safety & Security Officers are licensed in the state of Tennessee. If you require assistance of any kind, please seek out the nearest Safety & Security Officer. We use entrance security screening and bag checks at all events.
As you enter the building, please be prepared to have your ticket scanned, ID checked, and bags screened by security.
Firearms
No firearms (with or without a permit) are allowed at Cannery Hall. All persons, bags (including purses), and articles of clothing are subject to screening and search.
Prohibited Items Include:
- Weapons (with or without a permit)
- Toy weapons of any kind
- Knives (including pocket knives)
- Pepper spray/mace
- Oversized bags (Larger than 12″x12″)
- Inflatable items
- Posters/signs
- Backpacks
- Outside food and/or beverages
- Cans/bottles
- Alcohol
- Drugs
- Laser pens
- Markers
- Spray paint
- Face paint
- Laptops/tablets/drones
- Musical instruments
- Noise making devices
- Cameras with detachable lenses
- Video cameras – monopods, tripods, audio recording devices (unless special permission is granted and/or “taper” tickets are offered to the ticket buyer)
- Selfie sticks
Tennessee State Law prohibits smoking inside Cannery Hall. We have designated outdoor areas for smoking.
